So in summary.... what we have is the Trump administration claiming every pharma company involved in developing a vaccine is part of "Warp Speed".

And multiple Pharma companies themselves stating that they are not part of "Warp Speed".

Getting an standing government order (unpaid until delivery) does not make you part of "Warp Speed".

Accepting research and development money from the government for a COVID vaccine makes you part of "Warm Speed".

The question becomes how big is the umbrella for being considered part of "Warp Speed" -- does it include my local CVS pharmacy stocking the vaccine?

I think empowering big pharma to fast track things, along with govt guarantees is the big take-away from warp speed. Here's the definitive source.

The operation is not a membership thing, it was a plan of attack designed early on by the Administration to wage war on this thing. I hardly think PFE would pre-produce millions of an unproven vaccine without assurance of government guarantees.

Keep in mind that Pfizer has all the government guarantees to purchase it needs from outside the U.S. already. They were hardly dependent on the U.S. government agreement to purchase to move forward with pre-producing millions of doses of a new vaccine.

if they develop a vaccine that passes trials..everyone and their mother will be lining up to buy it so they know they will sell it all and more.
