Good points. Although the initial stimulus plan had a lot of pork, including payments going to foreign toy companies. The patient known as the U.S. Economy is getting massive tax and fiscal transfusions in order to try to get it to hold on just a little longer.

Part of the underlying problem is not political. It is demographic dislocations caused by the aging baby boomers. Consider Japan's situation over the last twenty five years with their "demographic cliff."

There are great global economic challenges ahead. Corporate, governmental, and consumer debt are increasing as a percentage of GDP and will eventually reach unsustainable levels, especially when the global economies take their inevitable downturn.
 
The biggest troll here about US politics is not a US citizen and does not vote in the US and does not live in the US.
