You're right, it was handled poorly, there was no need to shutdown the entire economy, and yes, Trump bears some of the responsibility for that because he cowered to the panic. The entire government, federal, state and local failed on this one, failed miserably.
actually, federal did an abysmal job, state and local government was a hit or miss, but even some GOP spots responded adequately (Ohio, Maryland).
It is the extreme liberal states like California with a $54 billion deficit with a lame ass opening by Gavin Newsom that will suffer the most. Watch as millions of California jobs vanish out of thin air. Since, the Democrat governors are busy colluding on keeping their states locked down to damage the US economy---they are getting their wish. However, those suffering the most would be the extreme liberal Democrats as they populate those states more. They would be out of jobs and taxes would be raised which they would end up paying too. Can't wait to see the damage to Michigan as Gretchen Witmer keeps her state locked up pretty tight.
