The McCurtain County County Sheriff's Office released this statement on Monday evening on Facebook:

The last 72 hours have been amongst the most difficult and disruptive in recent memory. This is a very complex situation and one we regret having to address.

There is and has been an ongoing investigation into multiple, significant violation of the Oklahoma Security of Communications Act, Title 13, Chapters 176.3 and 176.4 which states that it is illegal to secretly record a conversation in which you are not involved and do not have the consent of at least one of the involved parties. There is a significant number of victims of this criminal activity and it has taken significant effort and time to identify them and corroborate evidence.

Many of these recordings, like the one published by media outlets on Friday, have yet to be duly authenticated or validated. Our preliminary information indicates that the media released audio recording has, in fact, been altered. The motivation for doing so remains unclear at this point. That matter is actively being investigated.

In addition to being illegally obtained, the audio does not match the “transcription” of that audio, and is not precisely consistent with what has been put into print.

Multiple agencies are assisting in this ongoing investigation.

As a result of the press release that went out on Friday, a large number of threats of violence including death threats have been made against county employees and officials, their families and friends.

There will be continued press releases from this agency as the investigation comes to a close and findings are forwarded to the appropriate authorities for felony charges to be filed on those involved.

They have burned businesses, ransacked their stores, destroyed police cars by torching them, destroyed public property, threatened and beat up Trump supporters. Most of the BLM and Antifa thugs have not been charged or held accountable for their crimes. Extreme liberals and Democrats refuse to hold them accountable. If you accept that is A-Okay, GWB you are in for a surprise as these thugs move to other states including, North Carolina because thugs, will go where extreme liberal politicians and DAs will not lift their little fingers to enforce laws. Once again it is smallfil. Always calling me out by name, yet he has me on block.

As outlined many times in the past I oppose violence from both the right and the left. One can easily find my thoughts about ANTIFA and BLM in these threads. I believe that violent extremists should be locked up -- no matter their political leanings. I have also strongly criticized "George Soros" DAs that fail to do their job -- we have an example in Durham, North Carolina where I live. This is a progressive DA who implemented no cash bail (even for violent offenses) and helped cause the local Durham crime rate to soar through the roof.

Durham, N.C. is back in the news. The "George Soros" progressive DA who implemented a "no cash bail" system is doing such a poor job that the Feds are stepping in to prosecute crimes involving guns.

why do you accept the consequences (gun deaths) of a society having a 2nd amendment right but oppose the consequences (increased violence by suspects awaiting trial) of a society having a 5th, 8th and 14th amendment and support an unconstitutional system?

Third Suspect Arrested for Threats Against Anti-Hate Florida Sheriff

A Florida sheriff who has taken a hard line against antisemitic extremism in his county announced Thursday that authorities have arrested a third person for making online threats against him.

And just like the first two men arrested, this one also is living with his mother.

Cristhian Zapata, 23, allegedly posted the message “I WILL KILL CHITWOOD, MARK MY WORDS” on 4Chan on April 7—referring to Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood.

Investigators traced the post to a home in Ansonia, Connecticut, where Zapata had been living with his sister, her husband, and their child at the time of the threat.

“Zapata’s sister told Ansonia police detectives her brother was always on his computer, often participating in extremist chat rooms and ‘talking to unknown people about conspiracy theories and white supremacist ideology,’” the sheriff’s office said.

“The sister also indicated her brother was fascinated with Adolf Hitler.”

When police went to question Zapata, he had moved with his sister and her family to their mother’s home in Shelton, Connecticut. He allegedly confessed to making the post, identified himself as a nationalist, and cited the First Amendment as a defense.

Zapata was arrested Wednesday evening on a felony warrant for making a written threat to kill and now faces extradition to Florida—where Chitwood likes to meet accused extremists at the airport.

Before Zapata’s arrest, police busted two other men, Richard Golden of New Jersey and Tyler Meyer of San Diego, on charges of making threats on 4Chan.

Chitwood became a target of antisemites and white supremacists after he began speaking out forcefully against an extremist group called the Goyim Defense League that has been making racist and anti-Jewish spectacles in Volusia County.

Even Durham's mayor says that violent crime is out of control in Durham and she does not know what to do about. She is a progressive black lady and former judge. She also roundly criticizes the current Durham DA for lack of addressing the problem and their poor policies -- while the mayor also tries to promote the city's "violence interrupters" reach-out programs (which have not gone very well).

The only things recently added in Durham which have helped reduce violent crime in Durham is Shot Spotter and Video Camera systems in neighborhoods which record plates of every car driving in or out. Plus some more police being hired over the past year and police being focused on anti-gang efforts. The revolving door DA's office with "no cash bail" is not helping out at all.
