Macron got seriously lucky. The Ukrainian war has discredited Le Pen. The competition would have been a lot tougher otherwise, though he probably still would have won.

Many came out just to block the far right as happened with Trump, at least he acknowledged that reality in his victory speech.

Now would the Euro pick up a bit please, I'm about to shell out 500k for land so that would be nice.

Macron has already shown his fascist tendencies in how brutally, he put down the French unions demonstrating against high gas prices. Anyone remember that? Police used the most lethal riot control projectiles that maim and killed people. They used to have large crowds demonstrating against Macron until he unleashed the brutal police crackdowns and had large numbers arrested. The French picked a great tyrant in the mold of Justin Trudeau. Of course, we already saw how he froze the bank accounts of the truckers peaceful demonstrating against him. Then, charged them all in court on top of it. And these Europeans say they hate Putin with a passion? Of course, the dumb sticks vote for their idiot political leaders then, whine and cry about it later on.

How do guys like this survive in this life? There are times when I do think the wealth of the west is a problem as it allows bumbling nincompoops like this to put food on the table without every contributing anything of value.

Russia had barely a half decade of democracy in its entire history, they are born to be ruled by somebody, democracy does not suit their character.

The rest of Europe, except Hungary and Serbia of course know when to turn out to keep the extremists out, as they did today.

How absolutely insane is it that CPA☭ will be held in Hungary, who are these cons trying to kid about fascism?

For me, the choice between a right-wing authoritarian who is in Putin's pocket and a leftist authoritarian who isn't would be clear. But I am not French. The French though seem to agree with me.

From one dictator to another. They are cut from the same cloth. Give them armies the size of Russia and see what they do with it. I do not live in France nor Canada and they can live with their choices. They made their beds, let them sleep on it.
