I am looking to expand my library and one dry area is macroeconomy - both theory and application for the world of investment (I am not interesting in texts covering political or governmental issues, such as "capitalism vs. socialism" or "how to combat poverty" etc. etc.)
So I am looking for macro books...
a) that are business-school type introductory texts - ideally connecting macroeconomic theory and economic statistics with any trade-able instruments like forex, commodities, bonds etc. The less theoretic the better. I like graphs but I hate formulas although I have an Msc. in Engineering.
or
b) focus on specific sub-disciplines such as Emerging Markets Macro
or
c) are non-scientific books but have a macro background like House of Money or Alchemy of Finance
Appreciate any recommendations.
