The problem with the unwashed is they hardly posses something past the intelligence of an infant human and are completely illiterate with respect to computers. Artificial intelligence for them is just as tangible as the healing power of homeopathic herbal remedies. It's all marketing and they will buy it... I've noticed that recently every fucking phone is "AI" enabled... jeezus f***in christ.

Yes, there is a big divergence between reality and hype within the AI/ML space.

As someone that has worked in the AI (NASA) and financial field for the last 20+ years I can tell you it's unlikely that even in 100 years machines will be advanced enough to possess the intelligence of an infant human. What does that say?

It has already been done and classified repeatedly. There was one that made the fictional skynet look like a helmet wearing tard and it ran on a single desktop.
