MACD/Trendline Swing Trader

Will try to do a daily summary from here on...

Ok day. Sold POT at 94 and it is looking like a short.. Will be trying for 92 to 93 area. Hopefully stimulus pops it again. FCL trigger quite annoying but worked out.. Buying FCL while selling POT not very smart. Looking to keep a few swings and get daily income via a day trade.. most likely FAZ/FAS.. about .6 from FAS or 3 points from FAZ should be lower risk to get. Today was a relatively small day so .5 from FAS was good.

Trendlines on RSI (also MACD) very useful... Didn't take the trade as I was busy with FAS... This is something probably only possible focusing on very few stocks.. Now to convert to profits..

So far not too lucky... Bought FAS 10.6, added 10.75, had sell at 11 but was a bit greedy/unlucky... Obama rained on me.. something he said? Out 10.45. Was looking to PUT POT at 92.. didn't quite get there.. The longer it spends here the better a Sub 87.6 short will be... PLEASE GET THE BILL OVER WITH! Stopped out of BGU.
 
The missed FAS (I knew it was a "gift" trade) set the tone for a poor day. Continually going against the market - hard to explain really. The nasty volatility late morning meant a bad trigger on POT short.. Tomorrow another day.

I've been watching you trades for sometime now as you have a similar trading style as my own. What are your thoughts on e-mini future trading?. FAS and FAZ resemble the ES in the fact they represent leveraged indexes.

My thoughts????? I hardly need more rope... FAZ/FAS give me plenty to hang myself with. Somedays I FULLY understand those that scalp all day. Daytrading can be mind-numbingly hard, especially with a market that treats speeches as crack.

Sorry... had a rough day.

What advantages do e-minis have over FAZ/FAS besides the added leverage?

I'm not promoting them, never even traded them. My initial research sold me on the fact there is no wash rule and no need to enter every trade when doing taxes.
 
Was quite sure yesterday's lows would be re-tested but the timing occurred at a time I was no longer very interested in trading so could not earn back the poor FAZ trade. ANR trigger short. POT still short.. saved the day a bit.
