MACD/Trendline Swing Trader

J-Law... Picked up something from the text you sent my way that isolates my recent under-performance.... Laziness. There should be no such thing for a swing trader as a boredom trade. There is always something to do in the areas that generate trades. I haven't been finding those neat trades because I've been looking less. The SOL chart is a good example.. I should have been earlier in this via a trigger.

New Longs.. Breakouts EXM and VRTX.. Buy stops the best thing in trading.. No emotions as you make decisions OUTSIDE trading hours. Bought LULU but tossed it back.. Volume a bit low..
Covered VLO 46.1.. expected this wasn't going to be great as the entry should have been on break on those lows around 51... rubber-band was stretched at this point.
Sold HMY... Was waiting for break of 12.5.. ran out of patience.. $13 was target. PM stocks are very disorganized and gappy.

Have to stop picking up strays... Stocks (not in core list).. VRTX "was" one.. Stopped out today. Brief fling with CPKI also today. SQNM (continuation breakout into insane overhead) threatening to dump moi.. Hope CY (breakout) stays a while.
Solar day today with FSLR claiming 300 and CSIQ going into orbit. Sold SOL 18.5 in AH yesterday after LDK laid an egg.. I was 'S'... 'O'uta 'L'uck getting them back this am under 19.5 thanks to CSIQ earnings.. doubled up and trimmed back to normal ration at 21.. Picked up some Sept Calls.
TBSI stopped out, Added to EXM, Bought SPWR (declining trendline break but hell at 90)
SP 1406 trouble as expected but Nasdaq may be hot enough to pull others up?

Fade Trigger (trying to be sophisticated?) Gave me more RYL short.. covered for small loss. The daily MACD says it should "try" going up but I am mentally against it so I'll dash my toe against the rock again and again..
Solar day again but Sun went down right after lunch making me wish to daytrade. Dailies still look fine though in spite of the reversals in the overall markets.. They MUST hold todays lows tomorrow though FSLR probably tinkers with 300 again.
Sold SOL premarket at 24 and options for 20% or so.
Sold EXM 51's -- Target of 54.4 still possible..

Added to CY at day's end.

Very Unhappy with myself this morning.. Knew solars would likely bounce from yesterday's declines but forgot (chose?) not to put in sells.. ended up selling at swing lows STP 92 and SPWR 46.3. CY 29.75.. Failing to handle the waterfall yesterday and given another exit and not taking it is criminal.. VERY GRATING!!.. Also looked at TBSI and did not set buy stop over 53.8..
Basic chores should be done regardless of the Traders's Whacked mindset. More time spent reading worthless Wall street news and Forums than doing what NEEDS to be done..

Didn't post yesterday as there were too many nonsense trades... VLO and TSO covered for small losses. Bought GSOL Yesterday AT RESISTANCE, Sold today for small loss. Have no idea why I am in STP and YGE (they were not triggers)... rather that SOL or something with less overhead. Luckily all they've done is tease with profits I don't seem to want so they yank them..
Account balance was at it's high on Tuesday. This is a recurring pattern... Great profits Monday/Tuesday that rot either on their own or with my help. Trying to set an account trigger of say over 5% overnight gain that MUST BE taken. Seems one can make the whole month in 5 days of the Month.. goes back to the selectivity thing.
Slams of the week was SOL (still going), EXM, MTL, HES... Things to cry over.. DRYS (I had 20 Calls last week), TBSI, and SOL.. Still not letting winners run!! Hopefully in my lifetime I will. Could have been an obscene week. Should be happier BUT this was a Fish in Barrel week.
