OK let me start off like all other new traders and apologize for any completely ignorant statements I make within this post ƺ.
I would like to setup a "long term" swing trading strategy based on the MACD Histogram crossing above zero and OBV positive as my entry signal and a MACD Histogram crossing below zero as my exit
My Problem:
How do I get back testing software (using Strategy Desk at the moment) to look at the MACD Histogram on a 3 month or 6 month scale and not a daily or minute based scale (to frequent for me). I can graph it on these scales but can¡¦t figure out how to program the crossover signals on these scales
Hopefully this makes some kind of sense.
