Mac Computer and Tradestation

I have to disagree. I went to Dell and priced out a laptop with a similar hardware configuration and it actually cost more than my MacBook. Remember, to get equivalency, you can't just go to BestBuy and grab that $700 laptop. Compare against the true specifications - Core 2 Duo processor, 667 RAM, SuperDrive, graphics card, etc and you'd be surprised. Throw in all the cool hardware that you can't get on a PC, like the mag power cable (which I love) and it's a no-brainer.

Alas, this debate will go on, and on, and on, and on ...

Macs are overpriced junk IMO.

You can get equivalent performance on a PC for much less then a Mac.

Plus 100% of trading software is PC compatible, not 100% is Mac compatible

Stockwet, if the Coherence mode is not a "NEED" for you, you might want to try VMWares FUsion. Much Lower latency than Parallels.

Yes, I was waiting for it to come out of Beta.

I dont think there is a need to wait. The Beta performs FANTASTIC. I have had it running alongside Parallels with no issues whatsoever. I think the BETA (in this case) is for additional features, not stability.
