how did I pump it? as a pure risk/reward scenario, I did not think it would act this quick and hard. I set my stops every day and never took on a large position.

It was a spec play that was analyzed and thought through.

Just thought I would get out better that's all.

No offense but you're condescending tone makes you sound like an ass.

This was on 8/10 when I first posted in this thread.. obviously I was in beforehand. Please stop your bitter ranting.

Sorry if i feel the need to defend myself, it's been a disappointing day.
 
People were issuing "warnings" on this guy all the way up. Obviously there was something off about it, those who chose to play it saw that.

Be it smart or not, if we heeded all warnings how would we make money?

Do you, in fact, make money taking other people's warnings all the time?

lol, didnt say anyone lied. I said in advance that no matter what happened , even if it was delisted overnight, no one would fess up to more than a trivial loss.

I was right.
 
in retrospect pure bless for some of us tho, we all got in relatively early, luckly close to price after the gap. those who got seriously hurt got in at the top or there about.

BS. this is double talk, u believe our entry/exit price yet u wouldnt believe we wud say how much we'd lost if it went to 0.

Could today's drop be linked to MNCS's statement today that they knew nothing about the stock movement?

My guess is that once the Canadian newspaper published the article on MNCS, the game was over.

But the sudden gap down today was really unexpected.

I expected a sharp continuous drop instead of a gap.

OK, hopefully this post can be of help to someone (if not, I'm sure I'll get flamed for trying to help).

To begin with, I VERY RARELY trade bulletin board/pink sheet stocks, and have NEVER held one for as long as I did with MNCS

When I first started scaling in, I was of course very skeptical. I added to the position slowly over the next 2 weeks. The 11,000 shares sold on August 18th were due to a Forbes.com article that came out on that friday afternoon (Read here.. http://www.forbes.com/free_forbes/2006/0904/038.html?partner=yahoomag ).

The following monday, MNCS had it's usual .03 cent gain, so I bought back all the shares I sold and added another 4,000.

I sat in that 25 lot for over a month because there was absolutely no reason to sell.

From Sept 22nd on, I sold shares on fridays and bought them back on monday mornings (mostly because I was worried that MNCS was going to get "profiled" in barron's or some other news source).

The important thing was that I was locking in some profits on the way up...and after it started getting frothy, I was hedging my exposure by selling some of my position on the close.

Unfortunately, yesterday I was very busy trading and didn't get my "normal" sells (5000 or 6000 shares) off at the close. Sucks, but there's no reason to cry about it now.


Anyway, I hope nobody got hurt too bad on this. The bulletin board/pink sheet arena is as close to the wild west as you can get in this game.
