LV shooter

The guy would stare at people in the casino and make them feel creepy. That is a characteristic of a psychopath but he was an accountant. I doubt a psychopath, who needs constant stimulation, would go into accounting. Accountants are typically introverts so probably the guy is an introvert and that goes along with low social skills and a big superiority. His girlfriend describes some crazy behavior from the guy in the past so he's been crazy for awhile.. I believe I read that they were finishing up "God Bless America" when he started shooting. Somebody found a video of somebody that looks like him and a woman that looks like his gf at a political rally so if that's indeed him, he was political

ISIS Issues New Statement Taking Credit For Vegas Attack, Claims Paddock “Converted Six Months Ago”
zeropointnowThu Oct 5, 2017 4:44pm EST1 Comment

ISIS, which has never claimed an attack that they weren’t actually involved in, has tripled down on its claim that the Las Vegas Mandalay Bay Massacre was a Jihad carried out by Stephen Paddock – who they say converted to Islam six months ago.

In themost recent editionof its Nabanewsletter (ISIS has a newsletter), the Islamic State features infographs and specific claims that Paddock – who they say adopted the Muslim name Abu Abdul Barr al-Amriki (or Abu Abdul Barr “The American”).

A translation reads:

Las Vegas Invasion
Monday, 12 Muharram 1439H

A soldier from the soldiers of the Caliphate targeted a large gathering of 22,000 Americans at a concert in the city of Las Vegas, including nearly 600 killed and wounded

The executor of the operation, Abu Abdul Barr al-Amriki [al-Amriki = “The American”], 64-years old, converted to Islam 6 months ago

Method of Execution

The brother Abu Abdul Barr stationed himself for the invasion on the 32nd floor of a hotel overlooking a concert, and opened fire continuously on the crowds using 23 guns and more than 2000 rounds, and died, may Allah accept him, after exhausting his ammunition

Results of the Operation

59 killed

527 wounded

Panic and confusion of security in America and a number of European countries

ZeroHedge reportsthat “Minutes after the newsletter was issued, counter-terror analysts focused on the specificity of that particular new information. Thus far investigators have failed to uncover or make public a motive for the mass attack which left 59 dead and over 500 wounded in the deadliest shooting in American history.”

Assuming that FBI and police investigators are truly coming up short on motive or ties to terrorism, a main perplexing oddity that stands out is the clearly immense amount of prepping and planning that went into the attack combined with the seemingly non-existent public messaging left behind by the shooter. According to Max Abrams, counter-terror expert and professor of international relations at Northeastern University, little about the attack currently makes sense, as inexplicably “the killer went to very elaborate efforts to kill the maximum number of strangers for no apparent reason.”

Although ISIS has repeatedly claimed credit for the shooting in the days after the attack, both his brother and authorities have dismissed the possibility. He had “no religious affiliation, no political affiliation,” Eric Paddock said in an interview, adding: “He just hung out.”

Yet ISIS’ latest claims in its Naba newsletter are giving pause to some analysts who have been monitoring the group’s multiple publications since their foundations.

All said, however, there is still zero actual evidence as to Paddock’s motive.

So far, no matter how many angles I look at this, this shooting does not any make sense. I'm pretty sure that information is being withheld from us and Las Vegas has to be a tempting target for ISIS. but normally, it is the young people that are "convertible", not 60 year old accountants. His girlfriend may be the key to what was going on in his mind and if ISIS was involved. Perhaps ISIS may be latching on to anything they can because apparently they have lost a lot of ground in previous strongholds overseas in recent months.

Newt was on Hannity last night and he kept saying "why haven't they released what they've learned from his social media... Twitter and Facebook and E-mails"?

Is Newt that stupid? Did he ever think this guy might not do "social media"? Geez... not everybody has a FB account. Especially OG's in their 60's.

So we're supposed to believe all that top of the line, high tech casino surveillance didn't catch one second of this guy bringing in dozens of rifles, thousand of rounds of ammo, accessories for those weapons, setting up his own video surveillance, all over a multi day period. Right.

And he did it all on his own.

Lot of things don't add up here. If he was hunkering down for a shootout, why did he have 50 pounds of explosives in his car? They are saying he tried to ignite jet fuel tanks at McCarron Airport with shots, but that sounds crazy to me as well. That would have required a 50 cal with incendiary rounds. A 5.56 or 7.62x39 round would bounce off those tanks like a BB, even at close range.

Why isn't the media pressing for the casino surveillance? Why aren't they asking for ballistic evidence matching bullets to weapons?

More claims that authorities have uncovered a secret digital footprint for the shooter and that it reveals that he was not a crazed lone gunman, as portrayed by the MSM. Authorities seem pretty sure he had assistance. Even the local Sheriff said as much in his first news conference. So right there, that shows that the crazy lone gunman narrative is ludicrous. Speculation is focusing on the claimed ISIS affiliation and the possibility that he was part of a larger network of terror cells. That could explain the authorities' silence on discovering this additional information.

More evidence.
Senior law enforcement officials told NBC News that they have made two discoveries in Paddock's 32nd-floor hotel room that they currently cannot explain.

The first is a cell phone charger that does not match any of the devices that belonged to the gunman.

The second is a hotel record showing that one of Paddock's key cards was used to access his room while his car was outside of the hotel's parking garage.

I still want to know what the hell is up with casino surveillance. Those guys are fanatical about their "eye's in the sky". You can't flip a one dollar chip without them knowing about it, and they got nothing, not a single moment captured of what was going on outside his room, over a four day period? Com'on. They're slow walking this news for a reason. He pulled this off all by his lonesome? Doesn't add up. Never added up from the jump.
