I wonder how much of the issue is there are few movie starlets who look good in tight dresses these days. Seriously for most there is no point in tuning in and listening to boring speeches if there is no glamour.
I am not saying this for me. I am saying this for viewership overall.
For that matter... there are few male movie stars.
There are action heros... but movie stars?
I am not even being negative.
Hollywood does not seem to really be in the movie star game right now.
They are not writing dialogue for great actors and actresses.
There is no Cary Grant and Grace Kelly cat burgling on the Riviera.
There are no really pretty women whom you can't take your eye off in scene after scene.
