lowest commision on ES please

Talk to Howard at deepdiscounttrading.com. The way he explained it to me, it seemed like he uses a simple scale for all people that trade through him. The scale he emailed me was:

Level 1 : 0 - 999 RTs = .50¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 2 : 0 - 1000+ RTs = .45¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 3 : 0 - 2000+ RTs = .40¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 4 : 0 - 3000+ RTs = .35¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 5 : 0 - 4000+ RTs = .30¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 6 : 0 - 5000+ RTs = .25¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 7 : 0 - 6000+ RTs = .20¢ per side (on all your trades)
Level 8 : 0 - 7000+ RTs or more = Negotiable

I'm not sure how low you could negotiate with 10k round turns, but I assume 30 cents should be achievable. Again, that was an example he sent me, and I'm assuming it is still in effect. Email him and see what you can get.

thanks I will contact him. I wont bother contacting Mirus - looks retail to me.

looks like leasing a seat could be a good option, 10,000 volume per month

exchange fees 27.5c per side.
commission 10c per side
software 10c per side.
TOTAL = 47.5c per side
Round Trip = 95c

Cost of Seat Lease around $600 pm.

so it seems it is perfectly possible to get an all in RT of $1.

durrrr maths check. fail. think you were off school they taught maths lol

so now you are comparing 676.25million in notional value to 20m traded shares.

ha ha ha ha. you come on here all high and mighty and you cant even compare apples with apples. lololol

676.25million notional value cannot be compared with 20m traded shares, I guess if you knew the stocks I traded you could work out the dollar volume if you wanted.

look you clearly are out of your depth here. notional volume means jack anyway, why do you think they call it 'notional' clues in the question!

this is why I trade against liquidity monkeys like your good self, you see you have a little knowledge and think you know everything and you are just my liquidity monkey in the market. lol.

read my example above.

trading a 5 lot in and out the market 100 times per day is not size.

kid quit spazzing, if youre going to be rowdy do your own es homework

hokey cokey

Deep Discount just got back to me.

10,000 volume per month best option would be:

exchange fees 27.5c per side. (lease a seat qualify for 23.5c exchange discount on 10,000 pm volume)
commission 15c per side

TOTAL = 42.5c per side

ALL IN RT cost = 85c

Cost of Seat Lease around $600 pm.
Cost of CQG software $395 pm. (no round trip cost)

I had no idea it could be such a good deal.

I wont wait for an apology from Mr psycho poster as clearly looking for $1 RT was idiotic lolololol.

How do you figure your math on the exchange fees?
http://www.cmegroup.com/company/files/CME_Fee_Schedule.pdf

row2 in 1st 2 tables lessees. 21c + 25c = 46c

note 9 on page 2 - 18.5c volume discount for 151-1500 average daily volume.

(10,000 per month is roughly 500 average daily volume)

46c - 18.5c = 27.5c

if you do more than 1500 average daily volume you qualify for 22.5c discount hence total RT would be 8c less = 78c TOTAL all in.

scalping for a tick here and there becomes very doable with sub $1 RT's.

Hi

I scalp US stocks looking for 0 to 3c's and would love to trade the ES doing the same looking for a couple of ticks here and there however I need a rock bottom commission.

I really need $1 all in per Round Turn, cheapest I have come across is around $1.90 all in and that is for exchange members. I really need it lower for my strategies as I like to buy at the bid and sell at the offer and I scratch A LOT.

Conrats for digging through to get a good comm. rate. However, unlike stocks, you won't be able to buy bid and sell offer on ES. Its took thick and works on FIFO, so you will get filled only when price crosses through. Hope it helps.
