Lowest CME Commission Rates?

Hi-

Out of curiosity, what are the lowest commission rates anybody has heard of on the CME? This includes the rate one would pay if you owned a seat, and traded massive amounts of volume.

I worked at a fund where you would pay $.50/contract/direction, but that was after 5k contracts traded a month.

I'm specifically interested in in CME currency products, but I'm not sure if the rate structures would be all that different -

if you average about 10,500 /month rate is about 29cents. it depends. if you do over 20k you could get rates at about 3cents

look into the ECM membership at the merc

When you refer to volume, do you mean the volume in an individual contract, volume over contracts in the same category (i.e. currencies or ags), or total volume that one does over all contracts traded on the CME?
