How do studies work. From what you post, studies start with a preconceived political point then data is acquired to support the point -- and then you put out a politically biased "study" to support your bias. Naturally the study has nothing to do with actual reality.

Studies like this one are designed to comfort feeble-minded, insecure people.

Let's limit the definition of federal assistance to Welfare, Medicaid, Section 8, Food Stamps, and other social benefits. Counting unwanted military bases (which are a drain) and crop subsidies (which actually are forwarded to corporations in blue states) as federal assistance is absurd.
