During a House Oversight Committee hearing on the 2015 Paris climate accords, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) questioned former Secretary of State John Kerry on how he could receive a bachelor of arts degree in political science, the Washington Post reports.
MASSIE: How do you get a bachelor of arts in a science?
KERRY: Well, it’s liberal arts education. So, it’s not really science.
MASSIE: I think it’s somewhat appropriate that someone with a pseudoscience degree is here pushing pseudoscience in front of our committee today.
KERRY: Are you serious? Is this really serious, this is really happening here?
It went on like this for several more minutes with Massie continuing to conflate natural sciences with social sciences.
