What is wrong with AMP that you would consider switching? Are you having issues with them?
What do you mean by diversification of FCM? like holding different accounts in different brokers?
I have a personnal account with them already, and they declined my request for a corporate account for no reason. Was about to load it with 20K usd.
I created a company here in a canada just for this (basically for tax rates).
OIC. You could try talking to a human on the phone with them in their risk department to get the skinny on why you were denied. They might work with you to get it done. After all, nothing is ever denied "for no reason". Obviously there was a reason, else you would not have been denied. Silly.
And there may be other issues on your application they could not reconcile. Always speak with a human at a company before giving up on them these days. Many times they make the difference.

Yes. With futures, it is the FCM that matters, not (so much) the broker. Many futures brokers are IBs (Introducing Brokers) for multiple FCMs. Account funding/withdraw, available datafeeds, software, margins, and other account features and limitations are controlled by the FCM.
FWIW, my business account is at AMP. It is a US-domiciled entity.
