Might wanna look at the November $2.50 calls on DTEA for $1.05.
They spiked big yesterday on no news. The company said there was "no change in the corporation"... but that doesn't mean they aren't talking to someone.
If weed-drinks are the next big thing in Canada.... they certainly have all the parts in place with their ice-tea operations.
$2.70 book value/share and they actually have excess cash on their books.
Albeit its a microcap with a marketcap less than 100MM.
All that said.... in this latest mania of all things weed, like BTC was earlier this year.... it would certainly be a prime target for a high tech boiler-room to start some rumors and make a quick killing on a move like yesterday.
But its not like it was a penny stock forever... it was over $12 within the last 2 years. They lose money every Q though lol.
So who knows. They have manufacturing assets, distribution, cash on the balance sheet... and weed-drinks are supposedly the big new thing.
