A scammer is a thief.

When a thief is caught stealing, he has to make restitution, in full.

You might think the victim is stupid and naive, and thus deserving a hard knock lesson in life, but this does not relieve the thief of taking up his responsibility.
 
First of all, to the Original Poster, I'm very sorry this happened to you. It shows how dicey the trading world can be, and you really have to do research before trusting anyone.

To MP, HAHAHAHA. Are you kidding me? Every time you say you "know" that the market is about to reverse, I literally laugh out loud. Anyone that claims this kind of omnipotence is an absolute joke, and an abomination. You have said so many things in this thread that make it clear you know nothing about trading, nothing about money management, and nothing about respect for other people.

You wait out the bloodletting? What happens it keeps bleeding? Your "client" loses 90% is what happens. I hope this situation is made public enough that you are forced out of trading and into another line of work...Or please, please, please, do people a favor and just quit yourself.

My perspective is different than yours, because Mike Parker presented himself as an expert in trading forex, and has many years of profitable experience in trading this instrument.

Your gambling example is not a fair comparison to this case, where the victim intends to trade forex, not gambling.

(ok, some might consider trading in forex the same as gambling. Fair enough, but that's another topic to be debated in another thread.)

97% winning trades, but still blows out the account with a couple of losers. Don't worry, just add more for "margin" when that happens...
