Quote from Humpy:
The problem of youth is that they think they know everything
The tragedy of old age is that you get to slowly realize you know next to nothing.
Kids would be calling from Florida asking, "Hey Dad, did you get a job yet?"Quote from oldtime:
My idea is to put everybody on Social Security at Age 21 and then stop the benefits at 45. The longer people lived the more there would be in the fund because all the old geezers would be working. For many it would be their first job.
Imagine how content everyone flipping burgers would be remembering their youth?
Ah well it was good, but time now to get to work. Got a whole new crop of kids coming of age this year we have to pay for, after all, our parents sure gave us a good time.
I think I am going to work really hard. I want my kids to have more fun than I did.
Quote from daytrade:
I think anyone who is willing to work hard day in and day out, even if just a basic stature of construction , along with proper saving skills can reach middle class comfortable wealth, things may not be getting easier, but they certainly are not unattainable for any and all young average or not joes or janes.
