My parents are blessed and worked hard to retire far better than the average. Their "Assets" will be left to myself and my sister.
With that said, I doubt the "Lost Generation" is thinking about holding out till their parents pass.
Bottom line, many will figure out that working for most of the Companies that you ass clowns on this site work for, is a waste of time.
They will come to the understanding that Public Traded Companies are nothing more than "Boiler Rooms" sucking the life out of most of their employees, churn burn and let go.
The Lost Generation will come to the understanding the Private Companies are far more responsible than the Public Trade Companies.
The lost generation will come to understanding that, they may have to start their own venture.
Nevertheless, I bet that the smart ones in the lost generation will prosper.
The rest of the Cool Aid Drinking bunch will perish or work for a shitty public traded company for slave wages, possibly work for a state or Gov organization for even less.
It is times like these that the true spirit come out and break away from the sheeople heading to the cliff.
All the fools who thought they could get rich playing the markets, people believing that there is a short cut to wealth, people working 80 hours a week only to wake up to the fact that half their life is gone with very little to show except for a 101k, that may not be around much longer.
Enlightenment, Entrepreneurship, Evolving, Independence, Innovation will carry the generation, as they are forced to fend for themselves.
Those who can not adopt the above ideas will remain poor, enslaved and hopeless.
