If not, either 1. Enjoy the acid bath, or 2. Enjoy the $500 per hour billable for a securities lawyer because really wealthy people tend to sue whether they have a case or not. It’ll cost you a hell of a lot more than $50K.

Show us your Power of Attorney to invest the guy’s funds at your discretion. Show us the Risk Disclosure he signed. Don’t have one? He’ll argue that you embezzled his funds. Even if ultimately he loses, you lose.

He's not here to update us what happened... He's in UK supposedly so the meeting should've taken place already by now...

Thank you everyone. My friend told me his boss doesn't have any plan to sue me. I have decided to match his monthly salary until he gets another job. This outcome is way better than I expected. I won't get sued and my friend will have a nice long paid holiday until he gets another job. Problem solved! My only regret is that I should have sold those calls when they were up 60% instead of waiting until they become worthless. Adios!
