Actually the losers are the ones that voted for the GOP. They have demonstrated ignorance, selfishness, paranoia and a willingness to be brainwashed by right wing fear media. Unfortunately that also drags down the intelligent, caring (Christian?), optimistic winners in our society.

Neither of those two individuals is paid to represent the interests of their people in public office. Both are paid to give an opinion on the actions of elected officials. If their opinions aren't wanted, they quickly go out of business or lose gobs of money (like Air America, NYT, NPR, etc).

We have to listen (and our lives are affected) to Pelosi and Reid whether or not we care to hear from them.
no kidding. The democrats try to pretend Limbaugh and Hannity are the voice of the republican party. I can think of plenty of crazy things said by Maddow and Ed Schultz on msnbc, but I don't claim that is the voice of the democrat party. Pelosi and Reid say enough crazy things as it is.

Debbie WS is a real piece of work. When Ryan proposed a medicare reform that would not affect anybody over the age of 55, she went on all the talk shows telling everybody it wouldn't fly in Florida because they have a lot of senior citizens.

Republicans are no better. I saw plenty of ads claiming Obamacare hurts senior citizens.
