Lord Stern: 'People should give up eating meat to halt climate change'

By Jonah Goldberg

The government cannot have my dog.

Don’t tell that to the authors of the new book Time to Eat the Dog?: The Real Guide to Sustainable Living. They calculate that dog owning is much worse than SUV driving for the planet. So when you see a car heading to the dog park with some happy labs drooling out the window, you should think “climate criminals.”

Meanwhile, in less surprising news, cats (long known as the handmaidens of Satan) have roughly the ecological paw print of a Volkswagen Golf.

Authors Robert and Brenda Vale don’t actually suggest you eat your dog. But they do say we’d be better off if we weaned ourselves from pets that treat Gaia like a fire hydrant. Better to play fetch with our pet chickens and then eat them.

speaking of ignorance. you seem not to be able to understand that it was right wing republicans that got us where we are today.

Who the f&*k cares ! There's no more time for such stupidity. Divide & conquer is a strategy, and its effective. - - - Watch the damned video and jump outside of your old thinking, if youre sincerely a 'liberal' or 'Dem' or whatever they call themselves - or a converted 'Rep' or 'conservative'. None of that matters. - - - If youre a hard core Marxist - - - well you can kiss my a$$.

Thank you all you Communist morons for helping to bring down the country. Your ignorance has brought us here. You are the 'useful idiots' that Lenin spoke of. - - -

did a little research to see his credentials as a scientist :

"Monckton has a a diploma in journalism. He inherited his father's peerage upon his father's death in 2006.
Monckton has referred to himself as a "peer of the House of Lords" but is not a member of that body. Monckton was an unsuccessful candidate for a Conservative seat in the House of Lords in a March 2007 by-election caused by the death of Lord Mowbray and Stourton. He received no votes in the election.
He also wrote "The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS"Monckton's views on how the AIDS epidemic should be tackled have been the subject of some controversy. In an article entitled "The Myth of Heterosexual AIDS", written for the January 1987 issue of The American Spectator, he argued that "there is only one way to stop AIDS. That is to screen the entire population regularly and to quarantine all carriers of the disease for life. Every member of the population should be blood-tested every month

Tigger regularly accuses us of not reading his material when it's obvious he hasn't read ours. For somebody who praises his Aussie "expert" for having been in NASA, he instantly dismisses the actual research done by NASA when it doesn't fit his pet theory. :p

You tool - - - where did you get your 'research'. He is a lord (though he mocks the title) and was an advisor to Thatcher in that government. He doesnt say he is a scientist, but is capable of thinking, talking to scientists, and knows how governments work. But I guess that puts him on the 'right' to you.(You probably drool all over the twaddle by that 'scientist' Al Gore). . Well get out of the way you dolt and put on the shackles you deserve. - - -

if one wants to claim that he knows the 95% of scientists who accept global warming are wrong dont you think it might be helpful if he had a clue about science?

I see a lot of yelling and hand-waving from you, but I'm not seeing any counter-evidence. :p :D
Well, there's tons of it . . . but I doubt you'll read any of it that counters your opinions. Here's an EPA report that was suppressed from higher ups since it didn't fit the p.r. program:

http://cei.org/cei_files/fm/active/0/DOC062509-004.pdf

In particular page 6 of this 98 page document points out that temps have cooled slightly and there is no evidence supporting the idea that the polar ice cap has been shrinking due to global warming.
Also read the Preface where the EPA scientists are concerned about the fact that some in the EPA (the political higher ups - though they don't say that) have been willing to accept the party line from other agencies, when their own studies & research do not support the global warming line. - -

Do a little homework (if youre able to understand hard science) and maybe there's a basis for a discussion. - - -

Tigger: EPIC FAIL

Why no more time? You said you don't believe in global warming. :D
