That's true. They were the beneficiaries of an apparently growing economy.

The other side of the coin is to blame the a-holes who tanked the global economy and put the world into Great Depression 2. If they hadn't screwed the pooch, private sectors guys could be enjoying what teachers do and more.

We got overwhelmed by the treachery of the democratic party.

By giving away world class benefits to anyone who would come. By negotiating these crooked deals with the unions that got the dems elected we knew we were getting screwed. People were protesting these give aways.

The dems created an economic death spiral to stay elected and they executed on their plan.

The day will come when finally everybody in the US will realize what the democratic party has done since FDR to gain power ans votes for their own selfish needs. Unions and democrats are the two biggest power hungry and thuggish organizations in the world. It will be the end of the USA and our freedom when it all collapses around democrat policies.

Part of me wants to congratulate the teacher.

..and another part of me wants to dream of a day when financial freedom is reached...

..but I guess it is too late according to some...I will be 53 soon.

Realizing the fruits of your labor and taking advantage of a good job contract is well....American...

Helping yourself in a capitalistic environment and paying GOOD school teachers well in a system that can measure their performance...well again...this is good and should be promoted in America.

Education should be first and where we put our money to give our population the skills needed to compete in an ever-changing complicated world.
