Looks like Victor Niederhoffer blew up again

Fair comments.

A very special (options selling) model of which the initial capital/AUM and inception timing would be (two of) the most important factors that even Soros once as an investor would be convinced for investing initially, providing its inception timing was very right. It is also subject to the fund would be able to return the original investment amount soonest possible. And that's why Victor would try to generate the highest possible returns soonest within the shortest period of time. Just 2 cents!

My thoughts on victor.

I read the first 100 pages of his book after my boss lent it to me. I got bored of it. Who is so full of themselves they need a 1000 pages to write an autobiography? He's not Jesus nor Leonardo da Vinci.

I had a colleague who knew victor through some any rand club that victor started. Like surf, he was an admirer of victor. No one at victors level doesn't understand the blow up risks of a short vol strategy.

The size of his fund and his current net worth implies he's been taking his gains out of the fund each year. So he's not betting that he won't blow up but rather when.

I doubt he blew up. There's no evidence of it and OP is a troll. But we all know he will someday.

his funds went bankrupt. there is nothing to talk about.
did your life end in 1996? per your post it sounds like it.

As most successful money managers, VN runs/ran multiple funds/pools/accounts---- the only ones that made the news are the blow ups. How naive are you to this business?

God, can you be more inane? wtf does a yacht charter have to do with a Swiss FoF operation? That's the best you can do with Google?

The image isn't from google. Nearly every owner charter their boats out, I don't get your point.

You make a claim, you support it.

Don't expect people to research a bald assertion.
What claim exactly? that most money managers run multiple products/funds/pools/accounts? OR that VN has run multiple accounts ? I am not sure of your question/point.

Clear implication, there were other funds that did not blow up.

Please provide details of these other funds that did not blow up, size, returns, etc.
