Not really. The big money poured into her funds after 2008, so she must have beat the market at least. Remember the SPX was down -38% or so. Thus a return of -20% was still way better....
By 2009 she had quite a sum AUM, and that wouldn't have happened if 2008 was worse than the market...

I really don't know. But I do know that
His aggregeted record (managed accts + funds) for the 15
yrs 1982-1996 was +31% / yr compoounded.
after 1996 it's harder to determine--- remember the large allocators who give VN money can invest in anyone --- clearly there was a powerful reason to give him money to manage.

I can tell you here that I've done better than her stated % performance that you posted. I also trade opm and have no idea what her true organic stats are, any more than you do. I don't understand your fascination, but nearly every post of yours is somehow related to this Karen woman. So if that's a parody then you need to grab a dictionary. I'm up 15% over the last two weeks on portfolio (rate-arb) and will post the results to my thread this Thursday. I don't think Karen will post her numbers here.
