I refer to your two billets-doux to me in this thread.
First, I should point out that I respect Nik. I do not like ZZZzzzzzzz, as I have mentioned time and again both in this thread and in others. I think he is insufferable in the religious threads and can generally be a consummate asshole. However, I do agree with a good deal of his US politics.
It would appear that I have inadvertently mischaracterized you in this thread. I took the time to read a few of your posts, and you clearly do not fall in line with the usual suspects to whom I referred in this thread. You have a thing against ZZZzzzzzzz. Perhaps it would help you to know that I was at least tangentially instrumental in getting him banned when he went by the name of ARogueTrader, by specifically drawing Baron's attention to his conduct in the chat room a few years ago at a most opportune time. He, or at least that handle, was banned moments later. No, Z and I do not have a pleasant history. But that is neither here nor there. You accuse him of being a pedophile. Of course, neither of us knows, but if I were a betting man, I'd bet a dollar that he is not. A shit-disturber without peer? Without a doubt.
However, here is the bone I have to pick. ZZZzzzzzzz's Hard Right political adversaries here at ET are quick to jump on anything that resembles a smear tactic with anyone who disagrees with them. It is in their nature. Perhaps they are spawns of Rove. Who knows. For example, I wasn't aware until Pabst repeatedly pointed out to me that I was a communist cocksucker. Imagine my surprise. And so, the moment some of these idiot predators smell blood, real or imagined, they come out of their swamps and attack as a group. These are the same people who vilify and demonize their new president at every opportunity that presents itself and who still can't quite remove the brown smudge off their noses from the last president. Again, I suppose it's a Rove thing. I refer to the usual suspects here with whom you are no doubt familiar. See, their modus operandi remains identical. They're mindlessly doing the same thing but with different prey, however deserving or not that prey may be. And frankly, it sickens me. While you may be sincere in your personal attacks against ZZZzzzzzzz, they are merely being expedient.
And so, I confess that I evidently painted you with the broad brush. Not directly, but, I must admit, at least inadvertently. For this you have my apology.
