Looks like the stupid committee failed, automatic cuts to happen

Quote from EMRGLOBAL:

It is interesting because neither side really wants a compromise.

Because the are bafoons. They are all on the same side....MONEY!

This round table of idiots is not only unconstitutional but absurd. Fucking Grand Standing but now a major failure.

Any one with any money sitting in the US Market are fucking Fools.

All those with 401ks, penions, eta ll are doomed. This market will loose near 60% of its value from these levels before 2013 IMHO.

To be honest, it's every man for him self. each and every one of us better have money stashed away, own some sort of Metal, silver, gold, copper, or own the futures unless you parked them with MF global....then ur fucked.

Pay off all DEBT. Own fire arms and ammo. Look at living in states where there is zero state Tax and a little more freedom than most.

Every state is running a deficit so you have to find the ones with a better economy and a possible surplus in the future.

And enjoy life.

You can pretend all you want on ET. But when the real shit hits the fan, better be ready.

They are on opposite sides but they are all exactly the same kind of animal

Quote from Bob111:

how about free, equal time on some public channel like pbs. no donation is necessary..masses vote over qualified voters via internet. it's very simple, effective and free. and truly democratic. with current technologies any fraud will be spotted in a blink..
any income that come from questionable source can be spotted right away and should be banned. if you ever got caught-banned forever from applying to any position in gvt.

honestly...it's can be a waaaaaaaay simplier, cheaper and effective than current gvt
The problem is that nobody cares.
Companies, wall street, politicians, lobyists, and the media all are pretty happy with the current system.
Individules do not matter these days, they have no voice in a time when everything is run by money. The only thing we individuals can do, is to choose who of the 2 corrupt politican should represent the...
...lobyist.

Option new and, BobIII are expressing what many realize is the real solution to the fundamental problem of the federal government of the United States if it is to remain a democratic republic, viz, one must get money out of politics. The courts have interpreted the First Amendment in way that precludes any possibility of reversing the present trend toward corporate control of the government. I doubt if this can change as it would take a substantial revision of the U.S. Constitution. With corporate money firmly in control of the government, there is little chance of that happening, short of violent revolution. We are witnessing the ultimate success of capitalism and the failure of popular will to combat capitalism's worst manifestation. (As a capitalist, I can't tell you how it pains me to say that.)

If I wanted to summarize the path the U.S. has taken, I would do it this way. -- these are not my words, but probably some economist, and I don't know who it is. I put it in quotation to make that clear, though I am paraphrasing-- "Over the course of 200+ years, the United states has transitioned from one vote per property holder, to one vote per person, to one vote per one dollar." And as the majority now has no disposable wealth with which to cast their vote, the majority is no longer in control of the government.

Quote from siafx:

Too bad someone can't sue for political malpractice! When they churn the usual endless BS, some hotshot lawyer and an official affronted citizen rip their lifetime pension and medical benefits away, AND makes him give back all his insider trading gains. Wouldn't that be sweet.

... there is a name for what you propose, it's called MANDAMUS
(look it up)

maybe I should be that hotshot attorney!

SICK of this crap, sick of duplicity and scum running the governments of the USA. Sad. No accountability for these clowns!

Good point that, and you're right. The present mess is hardly that much of a mess for the above, only the poor citizens.

If you really want to know how honest etc. the politicians are then request under the freedom of information act all details of those politicians convicted by the courts last year and last 10 years.

I am surprised that The President only earns a meazly $400,000 per year. Peanuts compared to most successful business men. Prolly why you got monkeys in The Houses !

The average NY tradesman is on about that
