It seems they have their own yardstick for measuring intelligence, just like they have there own way of reasoning. I wish I could say I have figured them out, but apparently I'm not smart enough. Try as i might, I can't figure out how they come to their conclusions.
I did my best to explain that in the SDNY indictment of Cohen , Trump was referred to as "a candidate for public office." And since both "cohen" and "the candidate " were identified as having committed the same felony, a felony that Cohen has already pleaded guilty to, Trump must also be a felon. It seems there were a number of highfalutin lawyers that had come to the same conclusion. Then I get back from TJustice (post#59) this remark: "By your logic the Clintons would be felons too." followed by a list of criminals Clinton pardoned!
Now, how you get from Trump being a felon according to the Cohen Indictment to Bill Clinton and a list of criminals he pardoned is a transition that is just to much for my pitiful brain to follow.
I have, however, found something useful when bantering with these dullards. Once you tire of nonsense, responding in Latin seems an effective way to shut off further conversation. (I am suspicious, but I haven't tested the theory yet, that even if the Latin is nonsense, it should work just fine.)
