Your point is stupid at best. It makes no difference if Joe the plumber is real or not. The issue is what's going to happen to people like him under Obama.
The Dems are all about keeping the American people middle class. God forbid you actually achieve the American dream. And if you do, the dems will be right there to punish you for it and force you to give your money to all the deadbeats who'd rather point their finger and blame everyone else for their lack of success.
The point actually is that McCain has bad judgment by using Joe as an example, surely he could have found someone better to make his point that there are small businessman who make over 250K that would get hurt by haveing to pay a 39% marginal rate that Obama favors vs. a 36% rate that
he favors.
In addition by picking what is more and more looking like a guy who is a fraud (not a plumber, not a voter, and a tax cheat), the debate shifts from the point McCain was trying to make to the bad judgment of his picking famous Joe, not a plumber.
This continues to demonstrate his bad judgment as the Palin selection vividly exemplifies. Palin the national disgrace and as K. Parker of the National Review put it, "If BS were currency, Palin could bail out Wall Street herself"

So, call it what you want, the voters will decide, but to me, McCain looks out of sorts, confused, and grasping for ideas and in doing so, shows us the bad judgement we should expect if he were elected.
Why pick what amounted to a fraud as the keystone in your attempt to win a debate? If you think Joe, not a plumber, was a good choice, then pull the lever under McCains name. I won't be doing that.
