It specifically barred funds for a wall. It barred barriers in several large national parks on the border. It made construction of barriers conditional on getting the approval of local governments, most of which are cartel-controlled democrat-run cities. He got a small amount of funding, but at the cost of expanding the insane catch and release program plus the amnesty for child traffickers provision. Any honest person who examines this bill will say it is a huge defeat for Trump. He could have negotiated a better deal two years ago.
Of course he and his minions bitterly resent Ann Coulter calling him out on it. The truth hurts. He has betrayed his MAGA supporters and now is in bed with the Chamber of Commerce, Wall Street and the globalists. He's certainly gone the extra mile for Israel, tax cuts or Jared's scheme for turning felons loose from prison., but he gets angry when he's asked about his signature campaign promise.
I would have cut him a lot of slack but when he turns on the people who got him elected, that's it.
