Looking to get a new computer - Any advice would be really helpful

Have been happily using Amibroker on two 27" monitors on a Apple Mac mini. CPU load runs at approx. 7%. The 2014 model natively supports two monitors (2560 x 1440 in my setup at the moment). I like these small computers - they do the job and they have no noise. And when travelling I can just put the computer in a small bag and use a hotel's TV with HDMI. Due to also having OS X I can easily restore within a short timeframe - in other words I've got backup build in. This after having had numerous laptops - I no longer am prepared to put up with small screens and having to squint.
 
IF you are asking that advice in something like 2019 still I can recommend you to get something like newest Ryzen 5 3600 or so with lot of RAM and good motherboard and really fast SSD and you would be good to go for a lot of times really. Be sure please.
 
getting a good desktop is easy... with a good laptop you really need to pay attention to many things.. don't get 13".. cpus are not powerful enough.. get 15" or 17".. if you buy a gaming you need to see that the fans are not going to annoy you.. if you get a slim notebook then you need to check that the thermals are ok for sustained loads.. of course it really depends on your charting/trading software as well... something like sierra chart i'm guessing an ultraportable 13" would be fine. Also you need to see that there will be enough ram for your needs..
