Sounds like poor management at your company...
can you please stfu. You are talking the whole time about how jealous you are how some are earning more than you, the whole discussion on your end is decimated to "make more than", "I make less than", "they dont know what they are doing", bla bla. This does not sound like someone with confidence or knowledge of his own skillset is talking. It sounds much more like a desperate attempt to talk down others. What others do or not do or know or not know is NOT YOUR BUSINESS. It is your boss's business. If you have an issue with that then leave the company for heaven's sake. You do not seem to focus at all how you can upgrade your own skills and insight, and much rather waste all of your precious time on comparing yourself with others. With all due respect it sounds disgusting. You started this thread almost 2 weeks ago...what have you done since then? Which books did you pick up, how did you progress from 2 full weeks ago?

poor or not, I do not give a darn. He does not get a single inch of respect because all he has done so far is moaning. He has nothing to show for in 2 weeks, other than his music outings and complaints about coworkers. Those are the people I have no problem even at work to tell in front of everyone to stfu because they never come up with ideas, do not work hard themselves yet always look at faults in others. OP gives the exact same impression...

FYI, I have already put in my time in the corporate world with many years at market making and prop trading desks at hedge funds and sell side firms. And as boss I only yell at arrogant people whose work ethics don't afford them to be arrogant. If you came in here asking for help with a learning attitude you would have received a lot of support. But this was not the case. Maybe you should get the message tgat even your boss thinks similarly: he obviously does not think if you as being part of the team worthy to be groomed and wants you out unless you get your basic goals met at the currently lower pay. Maybe you wanna think about this for a moment, my message is sound...that I deliver it in a shitty package is just me.
