I want to get some long term asian currency exposure.

Merk's Asian currency fund ( http://www.merkfund.com/ ) would be very good except as a Canadian Im finding it difficult to buy. I cant invest directly with them. Ive tried a few brokers with no success. If anyone has found a way for a Canadian to invest into MerkFunds please share.

There's also the CNY on NYSE. It's not ideal but another way to participate in the renminbi.
 
I know this has been talked about a few times before. What Im really looking for is an effective way for a Canadian to invest into Merkfund. As in No full service broker as a middleman.
