WHY?

The OP said he needed the money to get it off the ground. This implies start up expenses. Nothing wrong with trading OPM (I work in the industry). I am just saying when you start managing OPM and set up the vehicle you will be expected to have some money not be flat broke.

If someone is a 'very good' trader and they don't have $100k saved after 4 years then I suggest that maybe their definition of a good trader may be wrong.

He is broke, read his OP he is looking for start up costs. I told you I work in the industry. Compliance consultants will charge £25k to set up a basic collective vehicle.

it's a hedge fund and it cost 50k to get it setup from a hedge fund lawyer and 50k for the office. That 100k. Why would I clear out my bank account and be a zero? How does that make sense. As a business

you're such a joke. I started out like everyone else working for someone else and saved my money. FYI i ran a consulting firm for last 18 years until retirement , then sold out and retired.
When I was your age, i already had a successful startup. Now i just laugh at jokers like you without your own $ or track record. With your attitude, you're going nowhere! hahaha

LMAO .. yeah we all started working for some in our early 20's by 25 we dont work for anybody any more.
