Looking for several traders to assist creation of a trading curriculum.

This site used to be much better for newbies and experienced traders alike, now it's a flame-fest and pissing contest. I know it's a good selling point for Baron to have 50K messages a day, so from a business perspective, having guys like TZ posting and reading in every thread looks good for the site's statistics.

Quantity over quality, that's the new motto around here.

Maybe it's a little over the top to jump on somebody bragging about a trade, but when their discussing strategies and trading methods I haven't seen him say anything on those subjects that I would question. That's just how he is. Trading is not a popularity contest. I really hope he can produce something. I might even proof read to see if what he's talking about makes sense, but as to actually writing it, my life doesn't allow me to take on pet projects like those. Trading and modifying strategies is mostly where I spend my time.

Mandibles was added to my ignore list several weeks ago. He wandered between saying things that sometimes make sense, and sometimes showing utter contempt for wisdom. A final batch of cluelessness tipped his balance.

I added "RealTimeTrader" or whatever it is to the ignore list today. I have little concern whether they continue yammering and using smilies to reinforce posts that are devoid of trading knowledge.

There is just a subset here of trader wannabes who are indistinguishable from potted plants. You explain something clearly, and they still continue to be potted...
 
Just in case some people (newbies) might be tempted, keep in mind that this TraderZones, who used to post under RCanfiel here on ET and who's name is Ross Canfield, is a failed system trader, and tried (unsuccessfully) to sell systems here for 250K as well as Collective2 (he has pulled them since). According to the opinions on Collective2, he's also deceitful and has changed aliases (just like on ET) several times. http://preview.collective2.com/cgi-...nt=searchstatus
