The references I have are in “Trading Analysis of Stock Trends” by Edwards and Magee and in “Trading Methods and Systems” by Kaufman but don’t know what else is out there.

Wanting to fulfill some intellectual curiosity.

Thanks, he's young and appears successful, but not really relevant to my current inquiry. He's a breakout momentum trader and his setups aren't specific to Gaps.

My interest is more academic.

Filling in the "gaps" of my personal Rosetta Stone. One of my past times is observing the new Furu's of today's flavor claiming authorship of some "invented here" idea and then verifying the claim to find it's historical roots.

It's becoming quite the family tree of TA with lot' of bastards shunning their genealogy - a who's who of who when.

One thing I do know,contrary to a popular cliche gaps do not always fill. Unless you're willing to wait 5 or 10 years.And even then there's no guarantee.
