I like my sleep plus those US markets are algo'd within an inch of their life. Much easier to trade our local market and make it your own no matter how much you get shafted each time you trade.

Not much good for day trading if I get that itch I will look at the Dax It’s a bit more friendly for our time zone. For swing/position trading our market is pretty good. I do most of my analysis on the XJO chart and trade xjo options and spi futures.
No vix options only the index xvi
I thought the australian market was very vibrant. I had always heard of a lot of equity options guys in australia and they did well in their careers.

That's great info. Up till now I've mainly been trading spx, vix and vxx options, and occasionally a few single names. Something in my time zone offers a more practical time to trade and possibly cut down on my day job, but I know I'll always be trading vix.
ok the German and and the UK exchanges, etc. I can do that through interactive brokers. I might stick with the US and Aussie market first. I'm up a bit with the US stuff so I'll see how it goes
Yea they probably only traded the main index options xjo. Can usually get filled at mid or 1 point over most of the time on them but some times the MM just won't play ball.
As for stocks maybe the top 3 have any decent volume but I only stick to xjo.
You can sometimes get really good leads on what the US market is going to do with the last hour of trading here.
