Looking for broker

I trade futures on about a $20,000 account not a whole lot of volume I may enter 20 contracts per month mainly options. I trade all futures markets.

You aren't going to do any better than Interactive Brokers. Although you might enjoy the software available at Tradestation.

And just curious -- how did you choose to post in the "Trading for a Living/Career Trader" forum? I might have picked "Direct-Access Brokers/Retail Firms". Maybe you are optimistic about the returns you are going to generate on your $20k?

No better than IB? Are you an IB evangelist?

There are MANY futures brokers that BEAT IB commisions, margins(intraday), product offerings (since IB doesn't do pits), and service for futures.

I would be out of my area of expertise recommending a specific since the OP trades mostly options on futures. But without question, IB is not the best or only choice.
 
I dont know them from an operational standpoint, but their quote was lower than the IB roundtrip rates....

Personally I use TOS and IB for Futures Trading and I am satisfied. TOS is limited in what they offer (at the moment), and the commission is a touch higher than IB. They are my backup Futures brokers for the longer term trades. (No over night carry fees)

IB for the shorter term trades.
 
I was going through vtrader group there commissions were low $8 round. I'm going through mann right now but thinking about leaving. basically just looking for the cheapest commission and getting my orders filled
