Looking for bonds

Shorter terms are possibly better, since you wouldn't get as big as a loss when rates rise...

But for just storage of money, why not a term deposit? 6 months or 1 year... maybe better than bonds? Don't know if the interest rates are interesting on those though...
I am worry a bit when my money locate in Russia

What about overnight swaps? If one were to make a basket based on the AUDCHF (Australian Dollar - Swiss Franc), AUDJPY (Australian Dollar - Japanese Yen), short EURAUD (Euro - Australian Dollar) short USDMXN (US Dollar - Mexican Peso) and short EURTRY (Euro - Turkish Lira) on 5x leverage each and hold it for 5 years they would almost definitely make more than 3% annually even if the basket value dropped 10% (which I deem unlikely).

So, basically long Aussie, long Mexican Peso, and long Turkish Lira vs short USD, CHF and EUR...

And you honestly think the basket isn't going to drop 10% in 5 years time? With both the Euro and USD at all time low interest rates, all lower than the others? It's highly likely that both Europa and US are going to raise rates within the next 5 years... that will push their currencies up.... Australia might even still lower theirs, with even RBA saying the currency is still overvalued....

Dumb strategy.... the only that might work is long AUD vs JPY

I am an American and I hold ERUS, an ETF that mimics the overall Russian stock exchange. I like it because 1) the Russian market is at a very low price to earnings ratio, perhaps lowest of the world's stock exchanges. Mean reversion is on its side. 2) it is trending well.
So, maybe your best investment is close to home.

I have found gazprom bonds! But i do not understand what means SMART exchange. And why coupon is 8%. It seems too high! The lot size is also huge. 100 000$.

Now we don't understand you. You want to get your money out of Russia but don't have enough capital to buy 1 standard lot of corporate bonds?

Really, if you have <100K USD, just open a foreign bank account somewhere, you are overcomplicating this.
