Looking for bonds

Hello! I am trader from Russia. Looking for safe bonds on usa markets. Or may be etf bonds funds?

I am ready to get 2-3% per year. Is it possible for safe bonds?
I am newbie on usa market.
Which bond i should buy?

He is in Russia, I am guessing some return is preferable to losing it all....He has massive exposure to political and economy risk....

What do you think will happen with the price of the 30yr treasury when that rate goes from 2.5 to 3.5? That will get absolutely hammered.... 30% loss on investment...

We don't know whether OP will hold the bonds as an investment or trade.
OP lives in an emerging market nation where threats to one's financial well
being is more than just interest rate or market risk....

Maybe, but I'm guessing @jenek-cowboy is looking for safe yields as investment. As his post reads, it doesn't look like he wants to daytrade. And like @panthers01 says, the 2.5% on 30 year T's seems safe, but are far from that.

If OP is happy with a very likely large paper loss of 30%... go for it. But as with any investment, know the risks.

But after one year i will get the coupon for 2.5 % and this will cover this risk
