I don't understand why this would be an issue. I drive is just a drive for the firmware. It should be completely irrelevant for the drive unless you use the crappy Secure Boot thing. Disable all the fancy features and it's a simple drive. Encryption is typically done on the software side nowadays anyway, sadly.

So the fan noise is rather annoying.
Yeah and when the liquid starts to run out, you will also hear a splashing noise that sounds like a waterfall every 5 minutes.
But water coolers surpass any normal fan by a huge margin if you are a gamer or running a crypto miner streaming 4k videos.

It's like the diff between a diesel pickup and a sports car.
Running a miner in your PC? But why? LEDS and the rainbow lights are the most annoying juvenile garbage to hit the PC market. I did a lot of work to find stuff without RGB nonsense.
