Dextor, We are talking about Robert Morse, a very frequent contributor to these forums. He works with Lightspeed, an introducing broker to Wedbush. He will be able to answer all your questions. We were joking a bit as he seems to be on the forums at all times of day and hadn't answered your questions yet. But I am confident he will soon.

I'm not leaving Interactive broker... just transferring majority of the cash from there.
Planning to get ETFs later :)

Main reasons:
1) To take advantage of margins for trading exchange traded spreads
2) Execution of synthetic / spread orders seems to be lagging for futures, am exploring other tools, but it does not work with Interactive broker, e.g. TT / CQG / CTS T4 etc. Closing the trade for synthetic spreads seems clunky on Interactive broker

Now that I think about it, I might trade options from Interactive broker and futures on this new account.

Bob is legit and great firms. took most cash from IB ...Lightspeed and Wedbush very happy.

and yeah, nothing but exchange spreader here. good luck

Hi,

I would like to open account with Wedbush, what are the:

1) Recommendations for an Introducing broker
2) Minimum requirement to open an account
3) Will be trading options / futures ?
4) How long does it take to process an application ?
5) Can I wire from my Interactive broker account to the account or it has to be direct from my bank account?
6) (Optional) Would be great if I can trade futures / options in the Asian region.

I am planning to do spreads / synthetic spreads.
Still evaluating the platform - either TT / CQG

Drop me a message or ping me. Willing to have a chat.

1) Wedbush Futures offer SPAN margin with CME offsets
2) We offer TT/CQG/CTS T4

We also offer Real Tick, but not for options. That software has our lowest per future cost.

Optimus clears Wedbush and has the platforms you want. I am not a customer, but they seem to have very low commissions. (Lower than IB). @MattZ is on here a lot - he is with them.

I appreciate the mention.

We offer Wedbush, and can help you with the right technology set up.
Also, we can find an arrangement for Asian markets.

I do my best to minimize cost and recommend software and FCM based on your trading method, volume and day trading margin requirements. Also, every software may have certain strengths and weaknesses that are not always seen unless you trading real funds.

Let's explore what you need specifically and I would recommend (objectively) what software is best suited for you. Please PM me and lets start a dialogue.

Thank you Robert & Mattz for your replies.

I am under capitalized if I have to pull out 25k USD from my bank roll and interactive brokers to put into WedBush. I was looking at somewhere above 10k USD in Interactive and another 10k in another account. I may have to reevaluate other options if that is the case.

I would be more than happy to work with $10K account.
