I wish you'd chill noob, your brain waves are interfering with my cell reception.Excel formulas are parallelized for years, so you're probably making use of it without even knowing. In this case, multiple cores might be better for you if you find your calculations slow.
If what you've got is good enough then why change? For me, I like moving at the speed of my thoughts rather than mulling over things endlessly so a fast computer is important.
