Hey BillBob,
I just read every one of your posts and you have to be kidding, right..... I'm going to pay you to show me how to take a bucket shop account from $10 to $100K? I think I may have found another use of the ET ignore feature here....

Your proposal is very unfair, but I think you are a fair person who just happen to have been used to value cash more than knowledge/labor of others. The critical part of trading is the idea/knowledge. It is the only thing you cannot go out and buy. In other words, trading methods that work are not a commodity.

What do you think of this proposition.

1. I would give the trades (say 25 trades) for you to see. Most likely you will not cheat in sense of using them, as you need to measure them to trust them. 25 is because of central limit theorem.

2. Beyond 25 trades, you would need to share profits, at most 49% to you.

3. Need for time and/or capital commitment.

4. A pledge you will not try to reverse engineer the method without the written consent.

What do you think of this call option? Is it not very cheap compared to call option people buy in the market?

Quote from Trader666:

Jack, 20% a YEAR worked out pretty good for Warren Buffett. How did 30%+ a month work out for you?

I'm not a 30% a month type person.

I'm sure that you understood this was a percentage for a new trader taking the offers of stocks in a universe many years ago (before you had a computer).

FYI, Buffett is not a trader, This ia a trader forum. Buffett uses one principle for his efforts. It is called "durable Value" investing. this is a name assigned by Buffett to what he does which is also called in the FI long tern trading.

I hope this helps you get reoriented to what ET is about and what Buffett does. Comparing the two is your business and it may not be too fruitful for others.

Jesus, Jack, that's a bitch! Getting a mite cataracty meself, so thanks for the gruesome details. I think that rather than go through all that I'd just get myself a girl reader who understands that secondary nipples are Braille for "Suck Here!" I myself am dying from the feet up, which is I suppose the better way to go. So I am off your case for a while. Stupid for one cripple to bash another. We may need each other one day. I can see. And you can walk. If you don't already do it, let me recommend dreaming the market. A lot of what I use I dreamt. The inner eye never goes away, they say. Kind of like the shit you dreamt up...no...I said I'd stop. But it is so hard. Such a cheap shot. Hope your eyesight and perception continue to improve apace. The thought of not being able to see and trade is scary. "Doctor, will I be a great trader when my vision returns?" "Were you before?"

Hey Art,
You are making me want to take Jack off of my ignore list. Please don't do that to me... What the hell happened to him? Is he freakin' blind now?

He was moved to tears by my untoward kindness to him. So blinded by gratitude he could barely see to type. Jack lies a lot about trading, but not as much about his personal life. Or as much of a life as anyone has at 78. Long before that age one realizes that death is no longer optional. Soon 666 will be sending flowers with gushy notes of apology. Let me tell you about my feet....Or my own eyes....At the range yesterday I was shooting other peoples' targets. The nice old lady next to me couldn't figure out how she was getting so many hits. The big-assed high-priced 9mm chromed like an old Buick she was shooting jammed on her. She asked me for help. So I got to make a hit. "Put your hands right here...yes....yes...that's good...now close your eyes and hold on tight...and don't scream if it discharges." Afterward she said "I don't understand why you shoot such tiny guns." "You'll notice that I brought three."

Arthur though you fight to think CW
Your body starts to shiver
For no mere mortal can resist
The 3x thriller . . .

. . .you hear the thread slam, and realize there's nowhere left to run.

you read the long post, and wonder if you'll ever see the sun
you close your eyes- and hope that this is just imagination . . .
But all the while- you hear the crayolas crumble as they're creeping up behind

. . . You're out of time

try this ... send me the worse and best trading system to me that you know at ' megamil@msn.com " to whatever works i will send you a check ...u have nothing to lose

sometimes people have the knowlege but they don't have the money...ex: SHARK TANK

Very good, Tiki! To give you context, today I made 31% of the daily range in a single backtested system trade. No angst. No sweat. No tears. No thinking even. Now that is not the efficient use of capital that I hope ultimately to achieve with a complement of interlocking systems. But it is a start. In hindsight, I think that I can code up systems that would take 80% of a day like this, but no more. And keep in mind that in recent experience this was a relatively wide ranging day. 3X? Bullshit!
