I'm pretty new to forex, and i just wanted some feedback, but i don't blame you guys for thinking i'm some dude that works for globalfx. The guy I met was a pretty smart guy and seemed like he had his head on straight. He even offered to enroll me in a class to learn more about forex trading -- all for only $500. I've seen other people sell it for a lot more, so i may take the plunge afterall. Even without your "help."

Look, cheesebob, if you want to market your wares in this manner, I guess it's up to you. We all live by our own ethical standards. But if you are going to be a shill, at least put some more effort into it. Take some pride in your work. Be more creative and establish some groundwork before openly gushing about your product. You showed your hand far too quickly. You must think that we are fairly stupid to fall for such lame "marketing." It's rather insulting.

If you need matched funding in forex, then you may as well just send a wire in the amout of your contribution directly to me. Because, if you need to increase your leverage (that is already 200x) by leveraging your contribution, you're gonna last about 24 hours in live trading.

Actually, you are under NFA regulation, right (I am now assuming you are with the broker)? If so, I think your advertising in this thread is in direct breach of NFA broker regulations. Oh well, spot forex is the greatest scheme for draining money from idiots since the birth of the Las Vegas casino.

If you are just starting out, try this. Open an account with a deep discount broker like IB, or whatever, and trade a single lot of the mini (half size) Euro or Yen. If you have 3-5k in in the account that will put you at about 10-20 times leverage, more than enough to kill yourself. You will pay punk commish and your spreads will be about a pip wide the vast majority of the time. And you will be trading a real exchange, not a bucket shop.
You can do this at home and save the 500 bucks a month to re-fund your account every time you blow it up.

Yes, especially for someone like cheesebob, who said in other threads he started about the same company that he is also looking to be "trained" in how to trade currencies. There is nothing quite like super-sized leverage and inexperience. They go hand in hand like alcohol and driving.
