Looking for a book...

I searched through destriero's posts and found 2 references. The first was to

Emanual Derman regarding sticky delta. Google returned this:

http://emanuelderman.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/smile-lecture9.pdf

Then he made a list of book recommendations here for people who are completely new to trading.

16 year old new to trading

Then he gave a weak recommendation for the Hull book. So I guess I'll start with the Hull book and then go through Derman's lecture slides. I'll read Tony Saliba's book if I can find it. Currently sold out on Amazon.

Ask Destriero. It is his group. I think he is still here.

When I read a deck like dermans, I never want to touch options again because I have no chance

Can anyone recommend a book that covers the more advanced derivative concepts that he talks about?
For a time there were a good number of books posted in the thread: "Options Education - Got a Website / Book / PDF You Like? Post It Up"
You might peruse who liked what, ask around and go from there? This won't take long. This'll be easy.
.sigma started this series off in a BIG way with the following post" "Nice thread. My optionality library is extensive, I’ll be regularly adding gems to this thread. For starters here’s a few:"

I have been at this a long time, traded on derivatives desks and hedge funds,am pretty good at this game and have often found Dest posts next to impossible to decipher...Never heard anyone use his terminology..

With that said, there is some gold in his posts, and he's generous in sharing his "wisdom"..

Just ask and you shall receive

I always assumed that one professional can easily understand another one speaking on subject of their expertise. Why do you think it’s hard to understand him even if you understand the concepts?

Des speaks in a way I have never encountered....

Before reading Des posts,I often pray to the trading gods to give me the strength and brainpower to decipher what I am about to discover :)
